PARTY POLICY

HEALTH AND SAFETY

1) No persons with infections in the pool.

2) Take a shower before entering the pool.

3) Any child who is not toilet trained must wear lifeguard-approved swim diapers in the pool at all times.

4) Leave the pool/pool area immediately during electrical storms.

5) A lifeguard must be present at all times when the pool is open.

CHILDREN

1) Children who have yet to pass the pool test, including guest children, must be supervised at all times. Small children wearing swim supports or flotation devices must be accompanied at all times by a responsible swimmer IN THE WATER.

2) Children who pass the pool test may use the pool deep end. Member children 10 years and older who have passed the pool test may swim without an adult or babysitter present, however after 7 p.m. no child under 16 may be at the pool without a parent or guardian present.

3) Babysitters must be 13 years and older.

BEHAVIOR

1) No smoking, drinking alcohol, running or roughhousing. Food and drink are only allowed on the deck picnic area. Please clear up and discard your trash.

2) Please don't bring chewing gum, glass, pets, radios, or CD players to the pool. As a courtesy to members, cell phones must be used outside the pool area.

3) Please keep lap lanes clear for lap swimmers.

4) Only one person at a time may use the diving board. Dive straight out, checking that no one is under the board.

5) Lifeguards are authorized to ask anyone to leave the pool if in their judgment that person is endangering the health, safety, or pleasure of others.

6) Please walk to the pool if you live within the power lines. Other swimmers please fill upper and lower lots before parking on street. No parking on neighbors' lawns. Driveway must be kept free at all times for emergency vehicles.

GUEST PRIVILEGES

1) ) Individual guests of members who turn in a guest pass or daily guest fee may use the pool no more than four times a month total (regardless of the hosting member), provided they abide by the pool rules. Members are expected to be at the pool with their guests during their entire visit.

2) Members bringing over 5 guests at a time must confirm with Pool Mgr./Asst. Mgr. at least 48 hours in advance.

3) Guest children MUST pass the pool test before swimming unsupervised.

3) There is no guest fee required for: Anyone staying in the member's house, including overnight guests, live-in maids, or au pairs; a babysitter; or anyone who is a linear relative of the member, i.e. parents, grandparents, children, and grandchildren.

PARTY POLICY

1) Organizers must arrange a date and time ahead of time with the Pool Manager. Some dates are not feasible because of membership use.

2) Two-hour (2 hour) party maximum. All guests must leave after 2 hours.

3) Maximum of 12 children/party, including Pool members.

4) All non-member attendees must provide guest pass or guest fee.

5) There may be an extra charge to the party organizers for an extra lifeguard.

6) All guests must be informed of the Pool rules and are expected to comply with these rules.

7) No parties can be scheduled in the last week of June or last week of August.
